There have been ongoing disputes in jubilee party which have been downplayed by all the Jubilee leaders when asked whether there was any looming signs of differences amongst some of the leaders.
This differences have manifested publicly when some of the Rift Valley leaders criticized some of the central leaders of having night meetings to see how they could curtail DP Ruto’s presidential ambitions for 2022.Kipchumba Murkomen, the Elgeyo Marakwet senator and the majority leader of the senator while being interviewed in Citizen TV by Hussein Mohammed confirmed that there were still some disunity among some of the Jubilee leaders.
He accused some member in the inner circles of president of working hard to make sure that William Ruto does not ascend to presidency. He accused them of planning to use the lifestyle audit thing to finish him. He said that the lifestyle audit called by Kenyatta had been discussed by the state house officials and fed to him. He beliefs that this is why the president said it so casually in Mombasa while commissioning a road to be funded by the government. Mr. Kenyatta was coming from an official trip abroad.
Some of the Jubilee leaders have engaged in verbal altercations with one section appearing to defend the DP Ruto who has been accused of taking part in major corruption scandals. They say that the call of lifestyle audit by the president of all government officials was made to target some of the jubilee leaders especially the Deputy president William Samoei Ruto because of the 2022 presidential elections.
The differences began when the NASA leader, Raila Amolo Odinga shook hands publicly at the Harambee House after a brief private meeting between the two leaders. The two leaders, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and Raila Amolo Odinga promised to work together. They promised to fight corruption which has become the major vice in the society.
The Embakasi East MP, Hon. Babu Owino has been arrested today at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA) alongside the Ruaraka constituency member of parliament TJ Kajwang in Nairobi and ODM politician and former Starehe MP aspirant on Thursday, November 16 afternoon while traveling to Kibra for a rally.
